Worship with the Shepherds of the Flocks

My spirit soars following a powerful night of worship and messages with churches from Maryland and Delaware at the BCMD Annual Meeting. Blessed with the great honor, last night, to lead the shepherds, staff, and members from far and wide, we led worship just before Luis Palau delivered a powerful message on "unity in prayer." Seeing voices and hands lifted high to the glory of God was a humbling experience. It is a little taste of our end goal - encircling God Almighty's throne and giving Him... Read Full Post »

Fishing Faith at a Farmer's Market

Friday's Farmer's Market "Win-Win":

We head down to the Union Church booth at the North Beach Farmer's Market this past Friday night, where we are supposed to play some acoustic music, and there is a large southern rock band playing right across the street. We decided it's not kind to wage a battle of the bands (haha), so we decide to head down the main drag, packed with people, and look for where God might want us to try setting up and playing.

Do Something

Today was the first community picnic held by Union Church in North Beach, Md.  The focus was, as it's name says, the "community".  All things were done to reach out and show love and care to the community and neighbors around this beach town church.

You see, this church didn't just decide to bewail the situation in the world and in their community.  It decided to not just complain that "somebody" should do something.

They decided to "DO something."

Life in Balance

Musing a bit here as I update the site with two recent bookings, one of which is a new senior living complex in Rockville, MD....

Does God ever say anything along the lines of, "Keepest thy life in good balance, being careful that thou not overcommitest thyself....."?  I can't recall seeing that specifically in His Word.  And I even checked "The Message" version.  Surely if the word "balance" isn't used that way in King James, it might be in "NIV" or "The Mes...

A New Christian Is Born

Jan. 20, 2012, was a wonderful day!  A young man named John gave his heart to Jesus Christ after an ATN concert!  THIS is what we pray for, and why we do what we do.  The Lord is so good to have to have brought John to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and in the process, to have encouraged our band by allowing us the privilege of sharing His gospel with John.  O Glorious Day!  We have a new brother!  :D

A band is born

All Things New began in 2010 out of a desire and longing to bring hope and truth to others through the gospel of Jesus Christ as presented in songs, woven together by Scripture and personal testimony.  Our first concert was December 9, 2010, in North Beach, Md.  We offer our music to the Lord and seek for His wisdom, discernment, and direction in all things as desire to serve Him and obey His Great Commission.  Please pray with us that we will do all - and only - what He desire...
